I was wondering if anyone knew of any data about the upward trend in Asian American hate crime?
I'm trying to visualize and analyze it to show the impact it's having besides a simple "it's up 150%".
Thanks !
This is my first post and I'm on my phone so sorry for mistakes/formatting. So the thing is, I'm from the Asian part of Russia. I was born there, my parents are from there ( My dad was born near Yakutsk and my mum was born in the peninsula Kamchatka, but moved all over Russia because her dad was in the army). Russian is my first language, and I spent my childhood in Asian Russia. However I am far from the 'stereotypical Asian' while my parents are extremely strict and hold me to extremely high standards, we have some similar foods/customs to other Asian countries, but I definitely do not look stereotypically 'Asian' and I don't think Russia is considered 'Asian'. I know these are only society expectations of Asians, I know all Asians are different, which is why I came here. Would it be OK if I called myself Asian? I just don't want to offend anyone...
Apart from Russia and Turkey, which are the other Transcontinental Countries, i.e. Countries which come under 2 Continents?
