I once spoke to someone who was involved in governing the Cherokee Nation and I was told that basically every Native American tribe believes in ancestors who come from the stars, and they even implied that many groups like the Cherokee know more about these “star people” than they may let on openly. This is an open question to anyone who is or has lived or been involved in any indigenous community or who has studied them: What have you learned about the connections between indigenous peoples and beings from the stars, UFOs, and hell even other intelligent beings from Earth? I already know a bit about the mythology of the Dogon and Zulu tribes but it is pretty difficult to find good concrete information about the actual beliefs of these people, especially when so much knowledge is lost in translation or tainted by the westerners who are usually writing about other cultures.
