If you look around at Europe, Asia, North America, South America, etc, you understand their modern views because of historical context consisted of what they previously did and happened which had lead them to get into positions of weakness or strength. They learn from their mistakes and become much stronger, but people internationally will also understand them much better.
(I know there is r/AfricanHistory and channels like home team channel, 2nackeki, etc but) When you come to Africa, you have a lot of people say thing like "Oh, you just said that because we colonized you," but will not draw to the fact that there are certain reasons African countries choose to go certain routes and it is not just the simple matter of 'being against countries because of history.'
If you do not properly understand the historical context of a region of the earth, it essentially turns into misinformation. Misinformation does damage externally with relations and internally with people turning against each other and the government.
By formatting, I mainly mean placing it in a presentable format which makes it engaging for people to read like an interactive website, attractive book, cards, games, etc.
A lot of North American, European, South American and Asian history is readily available and easily accessible to anyone that wants to view it which is helpful to people how again want to understand the geopolitics strategy of the country of interest, but, considering now looking at the state of African subreddits and seeing how many Africans do not even know a single thing about their governments interest or the pre-colonial historical factors that affect that interest is worrying and will do a lot of damage to this economically in the future and present.
