Hi everyone,
over the last week I've received calls from a local australian number. As soon as I pick up, an automated robot voice starts talking to me about some online casino, with $200 bonuses if I made an account now. The voice ended and the call cut out.
I was wondering if this is even legal? I also have never even once gambled. It's probably the one vice I have a moral position against so I'm not sure why I would even be targeted.
The citizenships via conferral form have a section where it asks for the details of siblings of the applicant including date of birth, place of birth, and full name. I have four siblings, and all of them live outside of Australia. I have not talked to them for years because of some family issues and don't know their date of birth. It will be very awkward if I talk to them now and ask their date of birth. What options do I have, and why does the citizenship application asks for these questions? I mean do i really need to be accurate or i can simply guess.
Hi r/Australia! I was having a discussion recently with a friend who's moving to Australia to do whatever he does in IT. Programming or something.
Anyway he was really excited about it but it got me thinking, why wouldn't somebody want to move to Australia?
He is all about the great coral reef and the outback and the beaches and such. But surely outside of the fact that all the creepy crawlies want to kill you there must be some real downsides to being in Australia. I'd just like your take on it.
