How much do I have to win at crown casino for them to give me the cheque, not cash?

I won 7000 at the crown and when I went to the counter they gave me cash. It's not that convenient to walk around with that much cash in your pocket at 2 AM in the night.

I am happy I won but I was wondering if anyone knows at what amount crown gives cheque instead of cash?

Why do we call motorcycle gangs bikies?

Always wondered it, I've always referred to them just as bikers instead of bikies, is there a reason? Or is it just cos? Never thought bikies sounded as intimidating tbh.
