Hii im new to posting on Reddit I’m not really sure how this works. So I’m confused on my ethnicity I’m of Persian descent but let’s go into full detail. My great great grandparents were from Persia their kids my great grandparents moved to India then they moved to Pakistan had a few kids there and went back to iran till the Islamic revolution. I would consider myself an irani but my parents think we’re south Asian j bc of those 2 generations outside of Iran but their iffy about it since we don’t look south Asian we look irani. My grandma identifies as irani. So idk what’s your guys take on it?
