I check out this apartment on Friday, and if it suits me, it’s mine. Based on the photos of the interior, I’m 99.99% certain I’ll take it.

I know there are many things that have to be done before I move. The things that I’ve already made a note of are:

• arranging a cleaning company to do an ‘end of lease’ clean.

• updating VicRoads of my new address.

• updating my bank of my my address.

• updating my GP of my new address.

• arranging for the power and gas to be disconnected at my current place, and connected at my new home.

I’m sure there must be more than that? What other places should I advise of my new address?

Also, I’ll be moving to Warrenheip. I’ve never been there before - I think I’ve been to Ballarat once before - those who live there, what can you tell me? Recommended places to eat, walking tracks, weather etc?
