Me and my partner are looking for a place to lease (quite urgently) and we've found the whole process of submitting applications and waiting for a response one at a time is causing us to miss out on a lot other places on the market.

I've searched the internet for an answer to this but get different answers every time, are we allowed to submit multiple rental applications for different places at once? We live in Sydney.
