In Japan, it is believed that under the Japan-US Security Treaty, the obligation of the United States is to strike in China. This was told by the former commander of the fleet of the Naval Self-Defense Forces of Japan, Yoji Koda in an interview with the Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun back in 2017, speaking of the still relevant territorial issue between China and Japan regarding the Senkaku (or Takeshima) islands.
The approach to solving this issue has not changed since and is unlikely to change in the near future. The tandem of growing Japanese militarism and the American tendency towards cardinal methods of solving problems by force leaves the world community with nothing but growing concern for international security and stability.
It should be recalled about the tragedy of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as well as the fact that the United States withdrew from the INF Treaty in August 2019, thereby untying its hands for previously prohibited missile activities. And in the event of the termination of the New START treaty, America will be able to repeat those nuclear events in Japan or create a new catastrophe in the world, sending weapons to any target.
In this case, those who are in danger will naturally have to defend their people and defend their interests. So, does America really achieves the Third World War and by all means provokes its occurrence?
