Have read mixed reports with some saying the town is past its heyday thanks to heavy handed policing in the recent years/rampant meth use.
I also read that the Hemp Embassy was raided before the Mardi Grass this weekend. I mention this because I’m worried we’ll get there and the vibe in the town will be dampened as this just occurred. Curious to know if anyone was there for the festival and if they can report on what it was like?
Interested to hear any of your thoughts or ideas for things to do there :)
Edit: Thank you for all your comments. We’ll probably end up passing through as we’re still curious but we’ll crash for the night in Byron/another surrounding town.

Hi all Does anyone remember a place show where there kids and a loft that was within a house is the best way to describe it. They would also have other segments which would involve other characters

Does anyone remember the name of that old abc3 show where a bunch of kids were like trapped in a cage and some other kids had to rescue them by going through a dungeon kind of thing And there was like a troll and shit? It was kinda like lab rats and steam punks

I’ve read that Australia is a pretty strict country and pretty difficult to get into. I would really love to visit Australia one day but I just want to make sure I can before I get my hopes up. So about 4-5 months ago I was charged for Minor possession of Alcohol (I was not driving, I was at a friends house and the cops were called) I am 20 years old (in the US the legal drinking age is 21) I have no DUIs, DWIs or anything other than that minor possession charge on my record, I don’t even have any seatbelt tickets.
I also have to wait 3 years before I can get that charge expunged from my record and I’d like to visit within those 3 years.
Will that minor possession charge prevent me from visiting Australia?
Thanks in advance, cheers

My parents are and have always been on centrelink. Naturally I never got any guidance from them. In school, my future was something I never thought about. I just got off the dole myself and landed a casual retail job.
Anyway I'd love to do a course or something that can help me land a better job to make a liveable wage. But I'm soo overwhelmed by it all. I have no idea where to start. Already have some things restricting me.
Is there any support service I can tap into to get free guidance?
