Hello,

I am constructing a social, interactive experiment for a class presentation I have in my Multiculturalism in Counseling class, which is part of a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program. My partner and I will be asking our cohort to take a stance on various questions that, hopefully, are generated by Arab-Americans and Muslim-Americans.

This is where we need your help. As an Arab-American, Muslim-American, or anyone who feels they have a good question for contribution, what are questions or statements you'd want American counseling students to consider. There really isn't a right or wrong answer, as we will narrow down what we feel is helpful and evoking. Questions and statements could be about race-relations, views on your religion, extremism, racism, oppression, acceptance, celebration, attitudes, discrimination, etc. If you have counseling related questions, we welcome those too but realize most people aren't counselors in training.
