The President of the United States announced the immediate cessation of the Boeing 737 MAX 8 and MAX 9 flights and a ban on their use in the country.

This step relates to the crash of the Boeing 737-8 MAX in Ethiopia in March 10th.

The decision was made after the new information obtained from the study of the wreckage regarding the configuration of the aircraft immediately after takeoff, along with newly updated satellite tracking data on the flight path of the aircraft.

In March 13, the decision to ban the use of the Boeing 737 MAX was made by the leaders of Canada, the EU and several countries in Eastern Europe and Asian countries.

The ban included flights of both: passenger and cargo aircraft.
