Google shows Ethiopian Air has been the top dog for years now. But why don't we see close competitors? Like the South African Airways or Egypt Air or the airline in Nigeria? Perhaps African countries might manage (to some degree and success) by partnering for regionally based airlines or just opting in like say the Scandinavian countries did with SAS or the Baltic countries backing for Air Baltic.
