I’ve been studying various african mythological deities and stories from different tribes and cultures, like Anansi, Oya, and Mwindo (I know he’s not a god, or at least not in the version of the story I read, if any other versions do in fact exist, but he is still a story I read about), and I started to wonder, do any of the people in Africa still worship some of these gods in modern day? I was wondering if anyone here could help me.

So I know that countries such as Uganda, Congo and South Africa have issues with sexual violence. I was reading one article which said in Uganda, rape is culture. And I was wondering, is it really accurate/truthful to attribute these issues to cultural reasons?

Do Tanzanian citizens really need to show a return ticket to TNZ immigration (I'm not talking about the airline desk) when departing the country for a vacation to a selection of Asian countries. Im not referring to onward tickets from the countries to be visited, rather a ticket back to TNZ. Why would this be necessary?
