ING look pretty cheap for car and house insurance - has anybody had any experience with them.
So in 2019 I picked up an Asus RT-AX88U router for about $550, last week it died out of the blue. No power going to it, while the power brick does have power - tested with multimeter.
As the router is still under the 3 year warranty I called Bing Lee, they told me to ring Asus.
I rang Asus and filled out their online service form, and after about a day I rang them to confirm they received the form. They told me the form has been received and to claim warranty from Bing Lee, then marked the case as completed.
Called Bing Lee again, they "checked their systems" and were insisting that the router only had 1 year warranty.
I called Asus again and they confirmed the router has 3 years warranty (exp 14/11/22).
Called Bing Lee with the reference number and confirmation of warranty from Asus and they're telling me now it's not their problem, that I should call Asus.
Asus finally gave me an email to contact (acau_rma@asus.com), which I did and gave all the details but have had no response from that email yet (24 hrs). How long do they usually take to reply to that email? Anyone had luck contacting Asus through there?
Are these two companies trying to evade an RMA? Does Bing Lee not do RMA replacements?
I haven't claimed anything on warranty for a long time so I'm not 100% sure how it works but I feel like I'm getting shafted here.
