I was born in America but have dual citizenship and have my Palestinian Passport and West Bank ID. Can I enter Lebanon?

I have heard rumors that Palestinians holding ID’s cannot enter Lebanon. It doesn’t sound right to me but does anyone know or have heard of someone that has entered Lebanon with a Palestinian and American passport.

And if I’m not allowed, can I just use my American passport and not show my Palestinian passport?
