My wife is currently on a bridging visa (have applied for a partnership visa) and hence does not have Medicare. Google says she would need OVHC (Overseas Visitors Health Cover) and there aren’t that many health funds that provide this. Could anyone recommended the best one for our circumstance? We are planning the pregnancy for end of 2022 and health funds require a year of membership before being able to claim anything for pregnancy. Going to any hospitals, be it private or public we will be charged at a private, is one better than the other? Thank you all!
