We have significant credits with luxury escapes, Jetstar, Virgin travel bank and hotels.com from March and May 2020 when the borders closed. We did not personally cancel anything, but our trips (honeymoon) were cancelled for us and we were "offered" credits. At the time, we accepted, not knowing that cash refunds were within our rights or that we had any other options.
Due to various circumstances outside our control (health, financial, employment inflexibility, family changes) we are highly unlikely to travel in the next few years though we are vaccinated. We've been trying unsuccessfully to get cash refunds back, just being given the same run around horror stories on productreviews .com etc... I'm wondering if anyone has any idea what we can do here or who we talk to? Unfortunately we do not have family or friends with plans or ability to travel that we can use the credits on either. Tia.
