I wanted to watch the Men's -81kg Judo knockouts today but 7Plus was only streaming the women's equivalent. The men's quarter finals are now live but it says the "event has ended". Anyone else have similar problems for sports they want to watch but don't have access to?
Edit: Title should be "Are certain Olympic sports not available to watch on 7Plus?"
I was planning to wait until the border restrictions were actually eased to some extent but given the totally utter failure of the vaccination campaign in this country I guess we are now going to be one of the last develop countries to reconnect with the rest of the world.
My family live overseas and I am watching as my parents age and develop health issues while I am totally absent. I don't know how much longer I can handle it.
Has anyone managed to leave and return to Australia for reasons of spending time with family who are not necessarily dying but are unwell and need emotional support? I don't really care how much it costs anymore.
I work for a law firm as a receptionist in Qld. I have been here for 4 months and would like to take a day off in October. My employer has rejected my application stating that she will not approve annual leave until I've worked here for more than 12 months.
This is illegal right? They can't just refuse any holidays for the first 12 months. There is nothing in my contract about this. I'm full time
Something totally unrelated to COVID: how do Aussies who have been diagnosed with adult ADHD receive treatment & medication if something happens to your usual provider? Sorry in advance for dumb questions, we're Americans but are permanent residents and still learning how the health system works w/r/t mental health.
My spouse was diagnosed with ADHD here in Australia about 6 months ago and is managing it through both regular therapy and medication. His quite elderly psychiatrist mailed him a prescription, but accidentally filled out the paperwork wrong (I'm not even sure what happened, it was some small admin error based on some recent change in the last few years, apparently?). Unfortunately, his psychiatrist is now in the hospital with some health issues and his office is unable to rectify the error (and obviously he's in no position to help either, poor guy).
My spouse has been hunting for a new psychiatrist ever since, but obviously it's very difficult to see anyone as a new patient -- especially right now. If you're currently on medication for ADHD, how do you continue with that medication if something happens to your provider? Is it just tough luck, start over with someone new in 4mos? Or is there something that can be done, considering his diagnosis and his provider's assessment and attempt at helping him refill that prescription?
Hey guys, I'm moving this weekend and was looking to get a bed frame and mattress for double size. Could you help me out where I can get the best deal on cheap ones. I don't have too much money so I'd like to find something good on a budget. Thank you in advance.
