Hey everyone! My friend is conducting research into enduring colonial values in Australia and it's impacts on First Nations communities around Australia. It would be really helpful if you could fill it out, there are only four main questions, all of which support her senior thesis.
Thankyou so much for your time!!!
Hello all
Ive been applying for science jobs through seek and I've come across a science job with the DTGS in Melbourne.
I managed to get a call back through the recruiting agency and they have told me to put in around 35-42 per hour on my form when filling it out.
Ive also been told this is a contract job and this a competitive tendering process, which means that once I submit my rate, there is no scope for further negotiations ( the contract is for 1 year with the possibility for one-year extension )
It also means that I am in competition with other applicants.
So what should I put for my rate?
Cheers
I’ll be graduating from a Bachelor of Health Science (Sports and Exercise Science) degree this semester from WSU and now looking at post grad options. My first preference is physiotherapist, however, given the competitive nature of the field, I’m having doubts I’ll be able to make it in. My GPA is sitting at 5.47. From my understanding, this is mid credit, however, I could be wrong. Does anyone have experience of getting into a Master of Physiotherapy program with an equivalent or lower GPA? Alternatively, what other options are available for post grad with this degree? Would nutrition be an option? I have considered exercise physiology, however, it seems very little jobs are available in the field, with most graduates ending up as ‘overqualified personal trainers’. Happy to be proven wrong if anyone has experience with they’re willing to share. I live in Sydney, however, I’d be willing to move interstate depending on the circumstances.
Thank you
