I've been planning on going on a bit of road trip during my uni break and want to go around Mildura, was just wondering if anyone knew any nice roads to drive on around that area, can even be in NSW around broken Hill etc. I know there's not much out that way but if anyone knows some scenic routes please let me know. Appreciate any help :)
And yes, my house is included which makes them not only my neighbour but my best and dearest friend. I'm not technically-orientated but will try my best to describe the process.
Utilising blown fibre and mostly single pass tractor-laid conduit through paddocks, wet gullies(hand dug), and along roadsides, the project is likely a first of its kind in Australia, is self-funded, and relies on paid and volunteer labour to put it together. The neighbour has envisioned, designed and is basically building the thing by themselves with some expertise helping it along. As the methods used are new, there are teething problems but not bad for someone with minimal experience and minimal funding.
Utilising different conduit sizes, lead-ins, and junction*1 boxes*2 enables each resident to begin at 1000Mbps/1000Mbps (currently hobbled at 100Mbps as homes begin to come online) with a 10,000Mbps option for the more nerdy. All they need to do is pay a monthly fee of $90 including phone and the installation costs are borne by this amazing yet totally normal and modest individual.

I'm sure one day when they are not working 18 hours a day on this project, they will impart their knowledge on how to build a viable internet for small localities which could be scaled up.
Hi folks, getting sick if the shit service of my current provider (both reception and customer) that bought out the company I signed up with. My needs are really basic, my current plan is $18/m-8gb and I use less than half of that on average, the lowest plan is $16-4gb so downgrading the plan and remaining a customer isn't happening.
I make and receive but a few calls each week however they are calls that need to be made and received, and in my area optus network and their resellers are garbage. So I'm looking for something basic and functional on a telstra network for less than what I'm paying now, and hopefully some of you good folks can let me know of some good stuff.
Started work about 2 months ago and I haven't had a day off or have to cancel any shifts and have said yes too a bunch of call ins happily and was praised for my work performance. I just feel abit uneasy because I had to say no when I got called in this week, twice. Just because of outside obligations, is this okay? I feel guilty and want to make a good impression but now am abit paranoid. I want to do well here.
