Hello - for a product campaign concept we are looking to change the appearance of the Fortune toad (used for attracting luck, wealth and abundance) from the traditional earth material (e.g. metal) into a robotic looking toad. Similarly we are looking to change the appearance of the Tsai Shen Yeh or Cai Shen - God of Wealth, so it looks like he has a muscular torso.
The question is whether the results of the photoshop manipulation is likely to offend people in Asian countries? I am from the West and therefore not sure if this would be a cultural taboo. Thank you for your help.
