Every single day I receive at least one spam SMS that has my first name and a link asking me to take action about something scammy. Each time the message comes from a different number and doesn’t have any “stop to opt out” function.
I’ve contacted Telstra and their only advice was to block the numbers, which won’t help because they’re always different. I’ve reported them to ACMA and SCAMWatch. But they don’t stop.
Can anyone in the industry tell me why telcos don’t have the ability to trace these messages and block the senders?
My mate told me about 5kg milo tins in passing a while back but I couldn’t find anything about it and haven’t seen him since so I was wondering if more resourceful aussies than me have any info
How is the job market in Australia for food technologists? Are there ample job opportunities for international students? I plan to do my master's from University of Melbourne and look forward to becoming a Sensory scientist.
