It was always known that the USA builds highways and Europe builds planned out roads and so on but with cars being cheaper and the population increasing, countries including mine (Egypt) are building more highways and bridges to fix that and when I asked one of my European friend living in Spain he said that Europe is also slowly doing the same.
Is it true? And how do Europe usually handle traffic? In my country they’re building a new capital with a planned out better infrastructure to not require bridges or 7 lane roads to make it impossible for people to cross but I still fear the future.
Transportation is also a big thing but weirdly enough it is present widely in countries like the US but they still build wider roads everywhere.
Tl;dr: With almost every country building wider roads and more highways, is Europe forced to do the same with more people buying cars?
