VietPress USA (Dec. 26, 2020):  According to the Worldometers info today about Coronavirus, there are 19,433,847 Americans contracted with covid-19 and at least 339,921 other Americans have died of coronavirus (https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/); but President Trump is busy for golfing at Mar-a-Lago so that he never have any time to say a word to people on this pandemic.

On Dec. 22, 2020 Trump pardoned 15 persons and on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, Trump continued to pardon 26 others including criminals such as his longtime ally Roger Stone; former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and White House senior adviser Jared Kushner's father, Charles. The pardons extend Trump's streak of wielding his clemency powers for criminals who are loyalists, well-connected or adjacent to his family.

Also on Dec. 23, Trump refused to sign the $900 billion relief package that Congress passed last week and vowed to veto if Congress don't increase the check payment to each American $2,000 instead of $600. For this Democrats have proposed $2,000 but Republican didn't agree! Now as per Trump's request, Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi immediately bring it to vote but Republican minority leader of the House blocked it. Trump left the White House for Christmas holiday at his Mar-a-Lago in Florida!

The Covid-19 relief legislation, which had arrived at Mar-a-Lago by Friday to await Trump's signature, would extend the number of weeks people can stay on two key pandemic unemployment programs and increase weekly benefits by $300 for all through mid-March.

Millions of jobless gig-workers and independent contractors, as well as long-term unemployed Americans, are set to lose their unemployment benefits after this weekend since President Donald Trump hasn't signed the  the $900 billion relief packageAll laid-off workers will likely lose a week of the $300 federal boost to payments because the President didn't put his signature on the bill by midnight Saturday.

Trump ignored the needs of Americans, he only spent his time to slam U.S. Fashion magazines not to give his wife Melania Trump a single cover shoot while Trump and his First Lady have been in office!

In a tweet on Friday, Trump called the First Lady "the greatest of all time," while retweeting a Breitbart post that said "elitist snobs in the fashion press" were ostracizing the "most elegant First Lady in American history."

Several leading fashion magazines have taken a political stance over the president, most notably Vogue. Trump angrily calls American lifestyle magazines as 'Fake News" for granting Michelle Obama, the wife of former president Barack Obama, 12 magazine covers in her two terms as First Lady, including three Vogue covers; but never give our "most elegant First Lady in American history" Melania Trump a single shoot cover during he has been in office!

Wow this slamming is most important than signing the $900 billion relief package! Read this report from Business Insder on Yahoo News at:

President Donald Trump has bashed leading US lifestyle magazines for not giving his wife, Melania Trump, a single front page cover while he has been in office.

In a tweet on Friday, Trump called the First Lady "the greatest of all time," while retweeting a Breitbart post that said "elitist snobs in the fashion press" were ostracizing the "most elegant First Lady in American history."

"Fake News!," Trump added.

Trump fans have long noticed and lamented the absence of the First Lady from US news stands, and often accused the US press of revealing their liberal bias by granting Michelle Obama, the wife of former president Barack Obama, 12 magazine covers in her two terms as First Lady, including three Vogue covers.

"If you need any further proof of the shameless bias of the liberal mainstream media, the most stunning First Lady in American history has never graced our nation's major style magazine covers," US actor and Trump supporter James Woods tweeted in February 2020.

Several leading fashion magazines have taken a political stance over the president, most notably Vogue.

In an April 2019 interview with CNN, Vogue editor Anna Wintour said: "You have to stand up for what you believe in and you have to take a point of view."

However, Melania Trump drew criticism from Vogue readers and magazine publishers in February this year over comments she made during a leaked private phone call about Wintour's decision to let Beyoncé guest-edit an issue of the magazine.

"Anna gave the September issue of Vogue cover - complete, complete, complete, everything - to Beyoncé," the First Lady said on the July 2018 call, leaked to NBC.

"She hired Black photographer. And it's the first Black photographer ever doing cover of Vogue."

The president himself has also expressed his personal distaste some for TIME Magazine, who each year name the "Person of the Year."

TIME named Trump as "Person of the Year" in 2016, but the president took issue with the magazine's choice of Greta Thunberg for the 2019 award issue.
