I live in Sydney and received 2 offers for a Postgrad Professional Psychology degree at Melb uni and La Trobe.

I know Melb is the more 'prestigious' one, and would look good on my resume, but i realise that the people who have told me that come from business/law backgrounds.

The issue is Melb is a 2 year course as it's a new structure, and i would need to repeat my 4th year. I would also need to move to Melb which isn't the most ideal for my lifestyle. The advantage of La Trobe's is that it is 1 year but i can study via distance.

In terms of working, i plan to work the majority of my life in Australia, but i would like the opportunity to potentially work overseas for a bit.
