I was filming my chooks on reddit this evening and was asked repeatedly if the term 'chooks' was racist. It was pretty funny.
How one can be racist toward a chicken is still a question in my head, but I'm very glad that no one mention Coon cheese because I am wholly unqualified to tackle that one.
So a bloke I work with is getting scammed, which he still doesn't realise. He was telling me last night about how hard it is for him to get his money out of the stocks he trades and to recover his bitcoin. I asked him a few questions about why it is so hard to do and he basically said he is paying other people to do it all for him. I asked him who they were and he said he found the world wide web and he has never met them but the people that run his stocks are located in the Philippines and he is unsure of where the bitcoin lady lives.
He went on to say that he has sent them photos of himself holding his bank card, licence and passport so they can verify who he is. I told him I was concerned that his identity was being stolen. I then asked if he had installed any programs on his computer for them and he was like oh yeah I downloaded all of them to help view the stock and bitcoin. He is bringing in his laptop to work tonight so that I can look at all this shit fuckery and try to help him out. I have also asked him to check his bank account and search for unusual transactions.
He told me he will be homeless soon if he doesn't recover this money. What would be the best way for him to recover from all this? Is there a government agency that I can direct him to report this or should he just go down to the local police station? Does he need to let service NSW that he sent out photos of his licence and passport? I already recommended to him that he contact his bank and let them know about the situation, however he is in his sixties and rather embarrassed about it. I will talk to him again tonight and do my best to get him out of the hole he is in and pay his rent so he doesn't get evicted, is there anything else I can do to help him or anybody I should contact?
Any help at all will be greatly appreciated.
Anybody here who's had both?
My Australian friends swear that fairy bread is incredible but over here sprinkles are strictly decorative and don't taste like much of anything. They typically kind of have a chalky consistency, so the idea of fairy bread over here doesn't sound very appealing.
