“Hello soo, I want to make a European postcard journal, where different Europeans send me postcards (I will send postcards in return!) and a letter about their country, explaining culture, tradition and current events. Basically explaining as if I was a tourist in their country. Maybe you can write recipes from your country as well and talk about your life in your country. I thought this would be a good project to do in lockdown and it gets a good amount of people involved! I will share the journal around either on here or I’ll send it to the people that participated so everyone can see the complete thing. Anyone is welcome, preferably people from Europe as it will be cheaper to send postcards for the both of us, and I’d like to keep it to one person per country but for example Russia is very big and so there’s mixed culture there and we may need more than one person to participate. If you are interested in sending me a postcard, recipe, letter, story about urban legends maybe a drawing or a bit of poetry for the book drop me a comment or a pm and we can exchange addresses so I can send you your thank you card, and maybe a bit of snail mail in return!” I’ve posted this in a few groups, I’m still missing some countries, all are welcome, if you’re from outside of Europe too feel free to drop me a message, but specifically now I’m looking for people from: Wales, Scotland, England, Czech Republic, Spain, Ukraine, Macedonia, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Isle of Man, Luxembourg, Estonia, Lithuania and a few others to send me postcards for the project!
