Over here in the US, anyone who mentions socialized medicine is usually called a communist and beat with a stick (not really) But I do have a question for the European redditors. I have a pretty severe lazy eye. Unfortunately insurance in the state’s doesn’t cover treatment (besides surgery, which I’ve already been through) because it’s technically “cosmetic” I cannot afford to pay for treatment out of pocket unfortunately as it’s extremely cost prohibitive here. I’ve heard of Americans traveling to Europe to seek medical care for experimental treatments and such that are generally low cost/free because of your medical system. Does anyone have any info on this they’d be willing to share?
(Mods, if this post isn’t allowed I apologize. Been searching for awhile to try and find the right subreddit to post this)

The oldest city is Zadar, Croatia, and the largest is Berlin, Germany. I want to find the cultural, historical, and overall “capital” of central europe. is it bratislava, prague, vienna, or budapest?
