In the last couple of months I've started getting SMS spam from random, unique mobile numbers. The messages use sneaky messages each time. The one today was "Last notice: Your requested-total will be rejected by 5pm. Resubmit: *link removed*". Initially, it was tempting to tap the link, and I can imagine many people doing so.
I've been using the "Call Blocker by unknownphone.com" app to report the phone numbers, but I'm always the first person to report each number, as it changes for every message.
Have you or anyone you've heard of experienced the same thing? Also, does anyone have any ideas of how I could stop this on an iPhone? I'm getting messages every couple of days.

Hi all,
I've moved in with my father at his rural property to help him out due to his poor health. After the recent bushfires pretty much everything around the house was ash and dirt/sand.
Now that things have more or less regenerated we've been noticing alot of fireweed cropping up on our block, in the neighbouring council blocks and in the national park behind our block. My father has been in and out of hospital most of this year and maintenance of the property was a secondary concern but now that things are settling down I am trying to play catchup. I have been walking around hand pulling and bagging any fireweed I can find but some of the weeds have grown into large bushes covered in seeding head that goes flying everywhere when handled.
Is there anything I could do to reduce amount of seed that escapes when removing the weeds? Or is it just a matter of waiting for those seeds to grow and pulling them before they get out of hand again?
