Friend was just just told they don't have a job on the day they were supposed to start. Is this legal? Anything we can do?

She was supposed to start a marketing job in May, but the start date was pushed back to today due to covid. In May she was getting regular updates and was told that she definitely is starting in August.
The past week or 2 she's been trying to contact them in regards to her starting, but never got a response.
Today she had an online meeting where they basically told her she had waited for months for nothing and the job doesn't exist anymore. But she does get 4 weeks pay as compensation.
They had MONTHS to tell her this. But only did today when she was supposed to start. She's crying right now...
Is there anything we can do?

Help an American? Please?

20 years ago I saw Frenzal Rhomb in a bowling alley in Chicago (on what must have been the most random tour point), and it effected my thinking through college (particularly racist). I can convince nobody that this was one of the best punk bands of the era. What are the Australian bands that I should be listening to today?

Although my broadband was disconnected a year ago, Telstra are still billing me. Anyone else?

Remember when we all moved to NBN, some of us had our broadband just yanked from us, switched off, then we had to wait a week for NBN to be 'installed' by whomever, and get a new, more expensive plan?
Turns out Telstra never stopped billing me for for my old broadband plan.
Anyone else had the same issue? What is the best way to get a refund?

Name Best Colleges/Universities in Australia for Bachelor in Electrical engineering and scopes?

I am from India from Northern region planning to study in Australia after Pandemic.
Which are best Colleges/universities in Australia for Bachelor in Electrical Engineering with better quality of Practical knowledge as Electrical is purely Practical field?
What are scopes of chances of employment in that field?
From what I've heard on Quora, IT and Banking sectors have sufficient manpower but technical/engineering and medical field have lack of employees and chances of getting jobs there are bit high.
What are your suggestions and opinions?

International telehealth doctor?

A family member of mine who is stuck in rural Russia is having difficulty breathing properly. As you can image, they don't have the most reliable doctors where they are, so I have been trying to arrange a telehealth call (no medicare obviously) to at least give her some suggestions on what to do.
Anyone have any experience or recommendations?
