Hi guys,

I am not sure where else to ask this, and have found so much conflicting information online and from doctors, and friends and family.

Will a WorkCover claim haunt my working life forevermore?

Some people say it will not, employers can only ask about current WorkCover claims, other people say it'll ruin my chances getting future work and will essentially be a black mark on my name.

So which is it?

EDIT: My theory is insurance companies have purposely spread misinformation about WorkCover and it's repercussions. My parents freaked out at the mention of it, as have many others. Even my doctor advised against the black mark of WorkCover on my name. Are insurance companies paying off doctors to lead people away from using WorkCover? ITS ALL A CONSPIRACY!
