Hello all, Did anyone see an Air Force plane over the Gold Coast this afternoon? It was a wedge shape; leading me to think that maybe it was a F-35. Anyone else see it and know what it was?

I came here to rant a bit about immigration laws that do not really make. We are four in the family: me, my elder sister, mom and dad. Me and both of my parents (except sister) migrated in Australia back in 2011. Mom's carer visa helped me and my dad to comr and become citizens here in Australia. One of the provisions included from this visa is being able to take family members to Australia. I was dependent (14yo) to my parents that time so I was easily be able to migrate.
Unfortunately, my sister who had just graduated college was not dependent any more and therefore falls under Long Remaining Relative visa (LRR). She applied for LRR since 2012 and until now, it is still processing. I heard the processing time for this visa is between 12 - 50 years.
It is so difficult for us, especially for my parents to experience living with a broken family and not being able to see their daughter for a couple of years. My father had also been diagnosed with depression and is taking medication for it due to this. Why, especially US BEING CITIZENS now SO DIFFICULT to take my sister in Australia? Shouldn't we be able to even have better provisions because we are now citizens?
We have done absolutely everything to help her come here in Australia for almost 10 years. Hired multiple immigration consultant and lawyers (latest being from SBS host and immigration lawyer, Yunn Cheng), wrote and published compelling stories, asked for help from relatives and friends. All this effort and not a budge in the immigration system or to even notify us what the progress has been.
All we can do now is pray and hope that my parents still see the day that her visa gets approved and be a reunited family. I believe God has plans and reasons why this is. That is all.
