Hope someone can clarify this, so i have my mortgage loan repayment onhold for 3 mths with Uni Bank.
and because i've just came out from a 2 years fixed term loan, and it defaulted to variable for 4.2% non negotiate rates, while my mortgage is in freeze mode if i switch to a different bank for better rates will i get penalty charges from Uni Bank for moving to a different bank.

I have a parcel on the way but it stopped tracking as soon as it got to Botany.
Does Auspost/Startrack handle deliveries in the Gosford areas?
I don't want to have to chase this thing up. And it looks like the tracking goes to shit as soon as it clears in Australia.
I see it updates but there is no corresponding update on the tracking. That stopped on the 28th.
I would be thankful for any advice.

Hey, I'm not sure if this the correct Reddit community for this, but does anyone here have an opinion of University of Macquarie compared to the G8s? I'm a Malaysian student and in my year 1 taking Bachelor of International Business and Marketing, and I plan to transfer over to Australia to continue my degree. I have heard some mix reviews of Macquarie, so I want to clarify more on this.
Other universities I'm interested in is University of Melbourne (if I can get accepted) and University of New South Wales, but the tuition fees are ridiculously expensive for a foreigner, so just want to find out some information. Thank you

I have signed a contract with a property manager for a house. I did inspect the property and filled the paperwork. However, when I took the keys I realised there was
- Mould growing in the cabinets of bathroom / kitchen
- Carpet coming off
- A weird gas small everywhere

Now even though they may not seem like major/ "unliveable" issues. They are absolutely unliveable for us because my sister has skin conditions, which flare her allergies in such places (e.g. mouldy, unclean and without proper ventilation.
The real estate company thinks these are not valid grounds for leave under 7 days notice, but mostly they think the house is liveable and repairable.
This is what RTA website states (see the image).
Are we on the wrong here? Do we have a claim? Should we go to RTA?

I've previously worked as a process manager for 5 years so i have an understanding of how things go with these larger corporations. Train your staff / create processes to best suit the profits. I left a larger corporation because of simply the requirement to create processes which exploits uneducated customers.
As a customer anytime i see it freaking grinds my gears so I'm here to rant a little i guess.
Today I ordered food, it came in 1 hour late very cold and as such I'm entitled to a refund.. i didn't agree to have food come in so late. So i called the support line, said I'll like a refund and was told we can offer you $5, i said no, they said we can offer you $10, I said no.. they said we can offer you $30, I said no and they said we can offer you a refund. Raging a little i said, i asked for a refund give me the refund from the very start.. (i'm already pissed off enough by getting shitty food)
With my previous experience i wanted to see if this was indeed process or just a one off error from a staff member (using uneducated staff member is often used as an excuse to work around laws) so i called back again with the request and was greeted with the same process, I also then tried online chat twice and it's the same shitty process.
If you feel like you are entitled to a refund then hold out until you get the refund and don't get tricked into taking crumbs. Tell them you'll like a copy of the phone calls / will request a copy of the phone calls and they will play ball quicker.
