So I read a post on r/travel yesterday that mentioned an Australian having difficulty boarding their flight as they had not applied for a landing/entry exemption from Australian border force. I've had a peruse of their website and for Australian citizens it appears you don't need anything extra, past having an Australian passport. I also couldn't find anywhere to apply for such an exemption on the ABF website.

So am I correct in my deductions that I'll be fine, as an Australian citizen returning to Australia? Or have others experienced differently?
