When I was living in Australia, I was asked to participate in a monthly phone survey by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. I was told that it was a legal requirement to answer their questions if the Bureau selects you. I've never met anybody else who had to take part beside me. Has anybody else had to take part? (And yes, the title is an attention grab).

After a few months of having to answer extremely silly, banal questions, they learned that they got my nationality wrong (cuz you know, the place where you were born is not the same as your nationality) and stopped calling.
