The South Korean Drug Ministry hearing to decide whether to revoke the license for Meditoxin was postponed. Meditoxi is Korea’s first botulinum toxin product known to smooth wrinkles and treat eyelid twitching and muscle rigidity. Meditox Inc., the developer of Meditoxin, allegedly used unauthorized ingredients in Meditoxin products made between December 2012 and June 2015.
Hyundai Motor Co. and its affiliate Kia Motors Corp. are set to reopen their U.S. plants this week. The companies temporarily suspended them amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The four largest Korean oil companies (S-OIL, Hyundai Oilbank, SK Innovation and GS Caltex) are expected to record a combined deficit of more than $2.4 billion in Q1 2020, mainly affected by the new coronavirus pandemic and a sharp decline in oil prices.
The average annual salary of the 318 largest South Korean companies’ employees stood at $64,614 last year, up 0.6 percent from a year earlier, according to CEO Score.
