U.S. citizen in Australia on a working holiday visa. I want to volunteer in anyway, shape or form. I dont have a lot of money to donate but I am in shape and can work long hours. What would be my best course to volunteer? I don't care what I would be doing I just want to contribute and offer help and hands in anyway I can. Most websites are vague and offer little information on how to volunteer in person. What organization would be the best to contact ? And what areas are in most need of volunteers?
Edit: the main problem I am encountering is the overload of information. I dont know what is legit and what isn't. What are the best organizations to reach out too??
