Through the horror that was the Christchurch shooting and the horrible things said by some very high ranking Australians, Kiwis never once even questioned the relationship between our two countries. I've seen nothing but mutual respect this year from both sides, and the fact that both countries are now sending aid to each other despite being in the grips of their own national disasters speaks volumes about the bond between our two countries.

Here's to the Kiwis and everyone at r/newzealand/ - our cousins across the ditch. Hope you all pull through this, and here's hoping next year will be a bit less shit for us both.
