Hey folks!
Its this time of the year again. We want to know your thoughts on the state of the sub. Tell us how you like the sub, how you like our moderation, where you see room for improvements, if you have any suggestions!
While we're at it, welcome our newest mod u/eggcouncilcreeper who's already with us for the last month and is our newest ambassador to Australia. Give him a warm welcome, he's doing good work.
Also welcome back u/canadianman22 who was part of the team in the past and came back to finalize his plan of suppressing every european in this sub. He's also doing good work but he may try to feed you to a moose.

[EDIT] Thank you all so much for the questions. It was a real pleasure to get to discuss all these important issues with all of you. Hope it was interesting for you too. I’m off now. Thanks again and speak soon!
Hello Reddit, I’m Anelise Borges, a roving reporter based in Paris for Euronews.
Born in Brazil and raised all over (US, UK, France), I have lived in London, Paris, Doha, Istanbul… and have witnessed breaking news unfold right in front of my eyes in the Middle East, Africa and Europe, including the War in Libya and the refugee crisis.
Over the past two years, I have been given the extraordinary opportunity to cover some of the most important stories gripping Europe, like Brexit and the Yellow Vests.
I am particularly interested in migration and integration issues and was the only broadcast journalist aboard the Aquarius rescue vessel when, in 2018, Italy decided to close its ports to migrants and refugees picked up in the Mediterranean Sea. My work was made into a documentary titled 10 DAYS AT SEA: The Real Story of the Aquarius.
I also filmed and edited a 30-minute documentary ESCAPING LIBYA about the reality of life in Libya for migrants and refugees trying to reach Europe. Over a 10-day period, I spent time with foreigners who had relocated to the country in the hope of crossing the world’s deadliest migration route.
My latest project took me to northeastern Syria to meet former European nationals stuck in detention camps for alleged associations with the so-called Islamic State. They live in squalid conditions with virtually no medical care, sanitation or clean water. Among them are thousands of children. Europe’s Children of ISIS is the result of over one year of research and aired last week on Euronews!
I'm excited to answer your questions on any of my projects — AMA!
