Hello guys, we are delighted to announce that we will be hosting Slovakian MEP Vladimir Bilcik for an AMA on this Friday, September 13, between 6-8pm CEST.

Vladimir Bilcik was born in 1975 in Bratislava, Communist Czechoslovakia. He went on to study ib in Armand Hammer United World College and went on to study in Swathmore College for his bachelors in Politics and economics, St Anthony's College in Oxford for his masters in philosophy in European politics and Comenius University in Bratislava for his doctorate in politology. Prior to becoming an MEP in 2019 he was a university teacher in the politology department in Comenius university and for 20 years served as the head of the research program EU for the Slovak Comitee for foreign politics (SFPA).

Me. Bilcik is on the European Committee for evaluating potential new member states to the EU, such as Montenegro. His areas of interest are: Fighting against disinformation, the future of schengen, he is the shadow manager for the removal of border checks within the Schengen area, Europol and its investigation of the murder of Jan Kuciak and Martina Kusnirova, expansion of the EU as well as effects of Brexit on the future of the EU and Slovakia. He is active in 3 EU committees and delegations.
