I've got my first appointment next week with a smaller provider and I'm quite nervous. I've got a Master's degree in Public Health, but I've found I haven't had much luck regarding jobs I'm academically qualified for because it often requires prior management experience. I'm currently in my first year of a part time Master of Social Work because a lot of my dream jobs in advocacy and/or policy seek out both. Unfortunately due to my disabilities my health was never consistent enough to do both full time study and try to work in typical student jobs, so I always feel kind of ashamed and inadequate.
I will be traveling to Australia soon and have a somewhat silly question. When I travel, I enjoy gifting small wrapped candies to everyone I meet as a way to thank you or to break the ice.
