Hey all, 17M from Canada here, gonna be hitting the sack soon but I know that y'all are up and at it down under right now.

Anyway, I've been fascinated by Australia for quite some time, and have been seriously considering immigrating there (most likely once I'm done with my university studies). The country is beautiful and the way of life I think would really fit me, but most importantly, I just really want to leave Canada.

So, my grandmother was born and raised in Australia before moving to Canada where she met my grandpa. Therefore, my mother and all my uncles were automatically dual Canadian and Australian citizens at birth.

Since my mom is technically an Australian citizen (though she has never lived there permanently), would I be eligible for the Citizenship by Descent? All help appreciated, much love from Canada.
