⁴The government has been criticized for not taking physical preventative measures and quick responses for almost all of the violence this year. Prevention and protection of innocent civilians is one of the major obligations and duties of the government. It is actually its main duty. People form governments and pay taxes for common benefits like protection, peace and to settle minor disagreements, etc...
For instance, now there have been an advisory notice for expats of several countries like the US, the Canada, and UK warning them not to wonder out of the city.
There are also other incidents that have been exposed.
These are...
• Some of OLF and Tplf are working together. Jal Maro (the OLF terrorist field leader once associated Daod) is said to be in Mekele cavorting with TPLF and plotting something.
• These two are apparently planning something from the north, south west, and even in the capital.
• It is said that TPLF has trained around 300 commandos or w.e who are sent here to Addis like a month ago to target people.
Etc..
So when such warnings are publically revealed as there were many for the previous violence/conflict, even up to the point of pleading with the government to take preventative measures. What is the government preparing to do to prevent this and protect people? What is the "intelligence" agency and the army preparing to do to ensure this won't happen?
The government has not only failed to take away these terrorist organizations and protect innocents but is even still retaining Tplf as a member party and has publically forgiven OLF. So a coalition with a terrorist party and forgiveness to another? How is that allowed and what does this say about the government? Why is the government not hurrying to dismantle and disarm the dangerous but small OLF faction of Jal maro as it hurried to the Amhara region atleast if it is unwilling to cut budget to Tplf? And how long is the country to go on with such terrors looming?
