They've essentially played a role in having guinea pig leaders in these countries to do their bidding. One can check sources for that if they want. Also, the leader of Ghana (not a colony of France) talked about African countries not being reliant on the west. There's been talk about African countries still making these countries use their Francs and how their puppet leaders due their bidding and haven't created a system in place (without tribalism/and ethnic nepotiism) that can allow the countries to be sustainable without France.
This thing runs deep. If some leader tries to remove France' influence, some of these French operatives might take him out or use some flaw of the leader as an excuse to stop that and put someone else in power. How can someone stop this? Is is convincing these other powers to stop supporting France, especially since France hasn't done much to help these other western powers in the first place
