Rescuing someone who continues to make poor choices, is not called love. It's called enabling.
The middle of last year, I had a friend who was rescuing me a fair bit, and it wasn't helping me come out of the depression at all and instead did a lot of damage to her.
So, if you find yourself rescuing someone who keeps; making similar mistakes over and over, it's time to stop. You are enabling them and not helping them get better.
today, I am grateful for learning about codependency
What are you grateful for?
