Hello r/Australia,
Recently moved to Australia and am currently diving into the massive world that is superannuation. I am hoping that this subreddit can point me in the right direction for the best funds for an investor seeking to control the portfolio allocation. I'm not looking for SMSF stuff as I understand substantial assets are necessary to justify the administration costs. Ideally, I'm looking for low-fee options (e.g., Vanguard funds) where I can simply set something like 15% Australia stocks, 10% property/infra, 75% international stocks. Not looking for anything fancy, I just want to be able to control where the money is invested and minimize fees.
So far I have found Sun Super, Host Plus, and Q Super for DIY allocations, but I'd like to know if there are any that I should take a look at or generally avoid. Thanks!

Another woman found dead in a park 😞😞 terrible.
99.9 percent of men DONT think its ok to randomly bash or assault women. All men I know would step in and intervene if they saw somthing like this happening, so Assistant commissioner Luke Cornelius please dont tell me “This is most likely about the behaviour of men.” sweeping generalisations do NOTHING to prevent these atrocities.
STAY STRONG MEN OF AUSTRALIA, THERE WILL BE A LOT OF ANTI MASCULINITY RHETORIC OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS IN THE MEDIA. STAND WITH ME AND TELL THE MEDIA WE BELIEVE IT IS NOT OK TO ABUSE/ASSAULT WOMEN, AND THAT THIS IS NOT A CASE OF TOXIC MASCULINITY BUT A DESPICABLE ACT CARRIED OUT BY A DERRANGED GRUB OF A PERSON.

Fellow Aussie battlers, I call on you in my time of need.
As a retail worker I am at the mercy of my employer when it comes to radio station choices and WSFM seems to be the station of choice. On paper this is a fine choice for retail but in reality WSFM has had the same songs at about the same time every day since I started this job in January. BLOODY UN-AUSTRALIAN if you ask me. Pretty sure the Geneva convention frowns on such acts.
I'm sure a lot of you out there share this issue, if not with WSFM but with another PURE GOLD NETWORK affiliated station. If so, please join me in telling them exactly how you feel. Or not, up to you really. You do you.
This is what I wrote:
Dear WSFM customer relations person,I am a retail worker at a large chain, my employers have very mercifully allowed us to have the radio on in the store on the condition that WSFM is the only thing to be played. This is perfectly understandable and I personally feel the best choice of station given the environment.BUT FOR THE LOVE OF BOWIE AND ALL THAT IS HOLY, CHANGE THE GODDAMN PLAY LIST!!!!Im not sure how many petrol station mix CD's you guys are budgeted for but you need to change some things up a bit. SAME SONGS, SAME TIME, EVERY GOD DAMN DAY. It is sad that for a station that is supposed to play music from a period spanning 4 decades can only muster up a few dozen tracks and doesn't even have the decency to at least hit the shuffle button. You are the cold un-seasoned mashed potato of radio stations; bland, unvarying and stagnant. Perfect for the toothless octogenarians that I assume you feel are your only listeners but a cruel punishment for anyone with a semi functioning long term memory.I do not mean to offend, I am simply passionate about music and that passion has been repeatedly stifled though repetition. As I write this One Night in Bangkok is playing and to quote Murry himself "...It's a drag, it's a bore, it's really such a pity..."

Received this message from Commbank this morning:
(My name), your account may be suspended. Please complete verification: www.cba.icu
The web link led me to a login screen, but the website url doesn't seem to be a legit URL. I tried searching for it on Whois.com, and found that it's registered through namecheap.com, which prevents whois lookup.
If anyone encounters messages like this, think twice before entering your access details.

G'day guys, I'm moving into my new rental in Brisbane soon and am overwhelmed by internet providers. The apartment will have myself and my partner and it'll be used mainly for Gaming, Netflix, Youtube, and general usage.
I've heard good things about AussieBB but am worried about their gaming performance. I'm also looking at MyRepublic with their 100mbps @ 79.99, amd Exetel's 50mbps at 69.99 or 100mbps @ 79.99
Thanks for the help in advance

Hey all
So I'm from Perth originally, and have spent the last 2 years in Brisbane. I'm heading back for study, not employment, so I'm giving myself 10 days tops to drive back to Perth with a friend.
First 2 days are getting to Sydney, and then we'll be on the road for up to 8 after that. We want to go through the Nullabor. I've been to Adelaide and Coober Pedy before.
We're taking swags but want to try and stay somewhere every second day - get charge into the devices, etc.
Anyone got any great spots to stop, or recommended motels/inns along the way?
