American here. In the US, when we buy our SIM cards, they come with plans (calling, texting, Internet usage, etc.), that can be used all over the country, including in our territories without extra charges. How does it work in the European Union? If I buy a phone plan in Ireland, will my phone work in Poland without extra charges? How about EEA? Will my Irish phone work in Switzerland or Iceland? Lastly, if I travel to let's say, Bermuda (a British territory), will my Irish phone work there? Sorry for the loaded questions, I just think this really drives at the heart of EU/EEA institutions and regulations.

Hello! Im a mexican who is very interested in studying physics in the EU, and (although not confirmed) it is possible that I soon obtain Spanish nationality thanks to a new law "Ley de Nietos" that could be passed.
I have done some research into the admission process, but even still everything is kind of blurry for me. Studying in the EU and supporting the scientific community there is a huge dream of mine, but I dont fully grasp the admission process yet
Do you guys have any knowledge about this? Thanks in advance!

I'm referring to this article, I'm sure I won't be the only one who is planning on leaving Spain during now and the 24th (if it lasts for this long).
I'm sure everyone has been seeing those adverts popping up with "get €600 compensation if your flight is delayed..." I've also seen people discussing these adverts saying to not to do it through these websites because it's a scam or the airline runs it and it's a whole conspiracy etc.
So basically I am looking for someone who's dealt with something like this successfully and got some amount of compensation. If anyone has done this or knows anyone who had done something like this I would absolutely love it if you could provide a clear guide on how to do this because I've tried searching but I couldn't find too much on it
EDIT: I just did some more reading and apparently if it's a strike then the airline doesn't have to provide you with a compensation :( but, either way since I use Ryanair/Easyjet/Wizzair a lot, I would still love a guide !
