Spanish Election Megathread

Hello, today ~~it is Groundhog Day~~ are general elections for the Spanish parliament. This thread will give you an overview about the parties and topics of this election and will be updated if there are any new developments like results or last minute news.

The election

This is the third election in four years. It will be held in a very splitered political enviorment. There will be a countless number of parties competing for 350 seats of the house of deputies (lower chamber) and 208/266 seats of the senate (upper chamber)

The polling stations will open at 9:00 CEST and close at 20:00 CEST. Results are expected to come in starting at 21:00 CEST and will settle down around 22:00 CEST when we will have a clearer picture about the loosers and winners of the election.
