Hello all!! This is the most relevant sub I can find, but please feel free to point me in a better direction.
TL;DR - I’m having trouble getting an E-3 visa for the US because my bachelor’s degree was 3 years long, instead of 4 years.
I’m wondering if anyone has been successful in obtaining a visa to work in the US with an Australian 3-year degree, and not yet having 3 years of work experience? The company I will be working for is looking to put me on an E-3 visa, but have recently said they’re not sure it’ll be possible because of my degree length. I have read that it is possible to be granted the visa if you’re able to provide “evidence” that your degree is equivalent... does anyone know what that means or how to go about it??
Note: I also have a diploma which is 1 year of education - I’m not sure if that would help out?

I know this isn’t a typical post here, but it’s driving me mad that Stan only has seasons 1 & 2.
Does anyone know where I can watch season 3???

Can I just say a massive thank you from NZ to the lovely Australians (and non-Australians) who have completely inundated New Zealander’s with love, support and unity. It really does mean a lot, more than you know.
I like most Kiwis and individuals around the world, woke up (not even woke up, I barely slept) this morning still disbelief and shock. The mood today is very sombre.
Watching and listening to the events unfold yesterday in what felt like slow motion, felt very surreal. I couldn’t believe the terrifying message I got from my friend in Christchurch just as this was happening, before the media here got ahold of it. My friends in Dunedin (5 hrs drive south of Christchurch) are also pretty shaken because a planned attack was initially meant for the mosque mere metres from Otago University where I studied, where my friends still study, metres from the flat I lived in last year.
Being in Rome last year and the huge military presence with their semi-automatic weapons around the city, particularly the major tourist attractions, like the Pantheon, really put in perspective for me how real the terror threat is there, and I was very aware of my surroundings. I’d never felt that way before, ever. I was so glad to return home and touch down in Wellington with a sense of relief and safety. Up until yesterday, NZ felt safe. Being an isolated nation at the bottom of the world, we’re usually the ones waking up to the terrible news on the other side of the world.
In sum, from your shaken up neighbours across the ditch, thank you <3

Why didn't they kill themselves or force a fatal exchange of fire?
Because they're wanting to see their horrific work bear fruit. They want to know in the months to come how they played major media outlets and sowed reactionary fear into our communities.

So I get that Australia and New Zealand are totally separate countries and that physically traveling between the two involves air or ocean travel over a pretty good distance. My question is, can citizens travel freely between your two countries like it is possible in the EU? In the US, prior to 9/11, it was very easy for us to travel into Canada. It was also very easy to travel to some Caribbean countries, like The Bahamas. Travel to Mexico was much easier as well. One only had to show a picture ID, like a drivers license. Now that has all changed.
